Queensrÿche vocalist Todd La Torre has issued the following update on the band's new studio album, the second one to feature La Torre in place of original singer Geoff Tate:
"Many have asked if this new record will be longer than the last one we released. Yes, it will be significantly longer. We have recorded well over an hour of material on this new one. No fat, no filler, just pure Queensryche. Lastly, it sounds sonically awesome as well
Eddie Jackson of Queensrÿche was a recent guest on Noize In The Attic - Where Your Past Comes Back To Haunt You on 88.7FM New Haven CT. Eddie catches us up on the new record, the Monsters Of Rock cruise and all things Ryche.
About the upcoming new album, Jackson says, “A bit edgier of a sound than the last album, a few more up-tempo songs. Guitar wise, it’s a little more aggressive.”
