Hard rock group Whitesnake tentatively issue 12th full-length studio album proper Flesh & Blood in the summer of 2018 via Frontiers Music Srl.

At the time of writing, the effort is in the mixing phase.

Flesh & Blood marks the first occasion frontman David Coverdale has written with guitarists Reb Beach and Joel Hoekstra. Recording sessions had been halted while Coverdale recovered from the H3 flu virus in 2017.

Whitesnake’s line-up is as follows;

Reb Beach (guitars, Winger / ex-Dokken)
Joel Hoekstra (guitars, ex-Night Ranger)
Michael Devin (bass)
Tommy Aldridge (drums, ex-Ozzy Osbourne / ex-Pat Travers Band / ex-Black Oak Arkansas)
Michele Luppi (keyboards, Secret Sphere frontman)

A music video was filmed for an as-yet-undisclosed track on March 10th.

Eleventh studio record proper Forevermore was released in March 2011 via Frontiers.
