Peter Hobbs, founder of Australian thrash metal veterans Hobbs' Angel Of Death, has passed away at the age of 58, it was announced today. A message on the band's Facebook page read simply:

"In loving memory of Peter Hobbs.
See you in hell brother.
RESPECT!"

The band recorded their first demo in 1987 and a year later released their debut full lengh eponymous full length. They would release one more album in 1995 entitled, "Inheritance" before breaking up the following year. In 2002, the band regrouped to perform live again, eventually released a new album in 2016 named "Heaven Bled."
