Sad news, as just after Deep Purple was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, former bassist and vocalist Glenn Hughes announced that he was flying home to be with his mother after the death of his father William.

He tweeted that he was returning home with his wife Gabi to be with his mother Sheila: “My Father William Passed away. Gab & I will fly to the UK to be with my Mom, I am there only child- prayers please.”
