Among the groups coming from the Iberian Peninsula, the Spaniards ZARPA is probably one of the most consistent. Except for a hiatus that took place in the 90s, they have constantly brought new heavy metal to the stage since 1977. Now they offer their new staggering 15 full-length album. The band consists of Vicente Feijóo, the singer, guitarist and only original member, flanked by a more than competent staff of musicians. Besides, ZARPA has been unfailingly consistent. Contrary to many other groups, they always stuck to their metal roots. This album shows hints of the Spanish Metal Heaven ('Corazón Eléctrico') and integrate some medieval- ('Un Peregrino Soy') and oriental-influences. Of course, Zarpa also offers guarantied hits ('Buscando Un Nuevo Mundo') and awesome metal anthems (´Dispuesto Para Atacar´) played in the purest metal tradition.
