Southern California hardcore thrash act Obscene Gesture have announced a June 16 release date for their new four song EP, Rising Demise, the follow-up to last year’s The Truth Be Told, through their own 187 Hoodcore Records label.
 
Featuring lone original member Guy Green on vocals and guitar, Vence Simpson, formerly of L.A.'s Tormentor, on lead guitar, newcomer Eric D. on bass, and Lamar Little on drums, Rising Demise sees the band continue where they left off with The Truth Be Told delivering an uncompromising West Coast assault of hardcore rooted thrash metal.
