In February 2015 DMR Books published Swords Of Steel, a paperback anthology of fantasy and horror stories written by heavy metal musicians. Authors included Byron Roberts (Bal-Sagoth), E.C. Hellwell (Manilla Road and Hellwell), Howie Bentley (Cauldron Born), and Scott Waldrop (Twisted Tower Dire and Walpyrgus). As a supplement to the book, DMR presents the Swords Of Steel Sampler, a compilation containing 11 tracks from all of the participating bands. The compilation can be downloaded for free and includes a 25 page PDF of excerpts from the book.
