The newly founded High Voltage Rock Awards has become an integral and important part of the Danish rock and metal scene, highlighting some of the best that the country has to offer, including nominations to big names such as Volbeat, Mike Tramp, Denner / Shermann and D-A-D, side by side with promising newcomers such as Myrkur, I'll Be Damned and Siamese.
 
The night of April 16th also features a world premiere of the new project by the legendary Michael Denner and Hank Shermann. The influental guitarists from Mercyful Fate and King Diamond are releasing new material later this year, and the High Voltage Rock Awards are honoured to be the debut show of the Denner / Shermann project.
