REVEREND guitarist dies of heart attack
Davey Lee, the San Antonio, Texas-based guitarist for the metal bands REVEREND and BYFIST, died this morning (Friday, October 1) of a heart attack. He had played the guitar since the age of 15.
REVEREND last year announced the addition of vocalist Robb Steele (TRANSLUCENT EXISTENCE, BYFIST, BITTUR HARVEST) to the group's ranks.
Former REVEREND/METAL CHURCH singer David Wayne died on May 10, 2005 due to complications from injuries he sustained in a head-on automobile accident several months earlier. He was 47 years old.
